Curak the apple of my eye, 110% my boy. In October 1996 I picked up Curak and his sister Chaika in Germany. Two Borzoi used to be shown but rather shy. From the beginning they gave me there whole hearts. On the way back to Sweden began our time together. Curak was not so keen in shows so I did not shown him so much, but when he was at a show he performed very well. He got CAC and CACIB from Eero Santala at a SKK show in Ronneby 1997. That was our first show and my happiness was total. At the National the same year we had Galina Zotova judging our Borzoi. Curak was in open class together with 12 others. There was 2 who got excellent and Curak was one of them. In 2002 when he was a veteran he became BM5 on Borzoi-Ringen South speciality and got Best progeny group with four of his offsprings. Later the same year we went up north to a SKK show and another B-R speciality. On the SKK show he became BM3, BOS veteran and Best progeny group. On the speciality he became BM5 and BOS veteran.
Curak has been used in breeding two times. The O-litter at kennel Majorow's which gave a litter which has done well both at shows and lure coursing. His second litter was with a German bitch at kennel Alexander, Zaruschka Alexander, where he got 3 sons. All of them has there license for lure coursing. There is another generation out of Curak in Germany. Bojar-Buran Alexander has been used on two bitches at kennel Babuschka's and once at kennel Grossen Hayn. Many of these puppies are stamped by Curak.
